A winter holiday on the Arlberg
The cradle of modern skiing
A lot has changed since the pioneers of skiing first dared to plunge down the white hillsides at breakneck speeds. St. Anton was one of the first ski towns in the world, and it has continued to play a leading role. Today, it is one of the best and most up-to-date ski centres in the Alps.
The St. Anton am Arlberg ski region
The Arlberg ski region has a total of 340km of groomed slopes and over 200km of descents in the backcountry. Most of these areas are accessible by lifts from St. Anton, while the efficient ski bus service will take you to nearby Lech and access to the remaining slopes. Almost 100 cable railways and ski lifts provide uninterrupted transport up the mountain with very little wait time. The region also boasts a variety of snow parks, timed descents, training facilities, a regional ski app and much more.
Cross-country skiing in St. Anton
Over 40km of cross-country ski trails are laid out around St. Christoph. All but a few have been groomed for both classic and skating styles. The nearest entry point to the network of trails is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
Winter hikes & snowshoe expeditions
St. Anton's 70km of smooth winter hiking trails, plus an extra 70km for Nordic walkers or jogging, provide the perfect opportunity for you explore the region on your own in winter and discover the secluded glades and amazing lookout points for yourself. Our recommendation: combine your winter hike with a thrilling toboggan ride.
St. Anton is a legendary après-ski and nightlife destination
At night you will see a different side of St. Anton, but it's equally legendary. Après-ski huts in the ski region open in the afternoons. The many bars of the region make the town a night-time hotspot in the Alps. You can go out dancing and party hard within easy walking distance of the Sporthotel St. Anton.
From transfers from the railway station on arrival to private ski storage at the nearby valley station, Sporthotel St. Anton guests have all the winter holiday advantages. We will be happy to reply to your obligation-free enquiry with an offer tailored to your needs. You are also welcome to book online for your winter visit to the Arlberg.
