Winter Hiking - Galzig Panorama Trail

Winter trail with panoramic views in the heart of the Arlberg ski area

The Galzig Panorama Trail connects the mountain stations of the Galzigbahn and the St. Christoph cable car over around 1 km, right in the middle of the Arlberg ski area and yet away from the slopes. Perfect for anyone who wants to experience the mountains at altitude without climbing up themselves.

From the Galzigbahn mountain station, the groomed and signposted trail runs along the mountainside to the St. Christoph cable car, with around 100 metres of elevation and wide views of the Arlberg massif. The Galzigbahn valley station is just a 5-minute walk from the Sporthotel St. Anton.

The trail suits winter hikers who are sure-footed, as it can be slippery in places depending on snow conditions. It is also a good addition to a ski day or an option for non-skiers who still want to go up into the ski area.
